Positive developments arising from last year’s IFAJ congress in Argentina continue in Latin America, where colleagues are working to build bridges with potential member countries. For the past three months, IFAJ member Carlos Curci Gonzalez, along with Javier Snaidas, Cecilia Mosto and María Mosquera have been engaged in a research study examining the potential for growing the organization in Latin America.  mehr »

Just ten days from the end of IFAJ 2014 Congress, the Scottish people will be making one of the biggest decisions the country has faced - to vote yes or no to independence in the referendum. The big vote will take place on September 18, but debate over the issue is heating up, which was quite apparent during the National Farmers’ Union (NFU) Scotland ‘Big Debate’ on March 18.  mehr »

The UK guild has had terrific results with registration, interest and enthusiasm for this year's Congress, Innovations from a Small Island. The average age of an Austrian agricultural journalist is 50, at least, that’s the way it seemed when it came to official Austrian agricultural journalists’ network activities. They were often attended by the same colleagues – most of them in their early 50s, some already retired.
