Greetings from the Congress 2015 planning team in New Zealand, where autumn suddenly arrived in the past week – snow, wind, hail, rain, thunder and lightning! Registrations opened on Sunday, 19 April at 10.30am New Zealand time, for this marvellous opportunity to visit the Southern Hemisphere. Ten participants have been selected for the 2015 IFAJ-Alltech Young Leaders in Agricultural Journalism award. The award supports the winners’ participation in an IFAJ congress and in an intensive journalistic boot camp-style workshop. This year’s boot camp takes place October 12-13, prior to the IFAJ congress in New Zealand.  mehr »

The planned ‘go-live’ date for registrations for Congress 2015 has been delayed for a couple of weeks, as we put the final touches to the arrangements, wait for several sponsors to confirm their participation, and test and bed-down the registration process. mehr »

Final arrangements are being made for the IFAJ World Congress pre-tour, Hot Tropics in Cairns, northern Australia. Registration opening will coincide with the New Zealand Congress in early April and prospective delegates are encouraged to book early as places will be strictly limited. The four-day tour will give delegates a taste of the main agricultural industries in Far North Queensland and its iconic natural attractions. mehr »
