It’s Canada’s turn next!

By Lilian Schaer, IFAJ 2011 Co-Chair

The IFAJ torch – or should I say flag – has officially been passed to Canada as we formally assumed the role of host nation at the farewell banquet of this year’s congress in Belgium.

The International Federation of Agriculture Journalists (IFAJ) hosts its annual conference, called a congress, in a different member country every year. In 2011, Canada will be welcoming farm writers and agricultural communicators to our country for the first time in over forty years. More...

The state of play in renewable energy around the world is reflected in a survey of IFAJ member organisations carried out by Agropress in Serbia.

IFAJ has received the very sad news of the death of Lut de Bruyne in Belgium.

On June 19, it was announced that she died unexpectedly after surgery, aged only 45. It is a great shock for her husband and three children and other family members, for her colleagues in the Belgian Guild of Agricultural Journalists (BVLJ-ABJA), and for all in IFAJ who got to know Lut during the Congress in Belgium last April.
