It’s Canada’s turn next!

The IFAJ torch – or should I say flag – has officially been passed to Canada as we formally assumed the role of host nation at the farewell banquet of this year’s congress in Belgium.

IFAJ Press Card
One of the benefits of IFAJ is an international Press Card. It’s recognized by (agricultural) institutes, governments, ministries, exhibitions, fairs and events all over the world.
The IFAJ Press Card is only available for members of organizations/guilds, which have joined the IFAJ.
How to order IFAJ Press Cards?
The IFAJ Press Card can only be ordered by contact persons of national organizations/guilds, which have joined the IFAJ.
Here is a brief instruction for contact persons:
- Press cards can be ordered any time. Maybe it is practical (and also cheaper because of the bank costs) to collect a few orders.
- To order IFAJ press cards it's necessary to fill in an order form (available at the secretary) and to send in digital photos. Send photos in digital format (jpg-file) and as small as possible, preferably in the size 20mm x 30 mm. Photos must be in colors RGB (not CMYK) and must have enough pixels (high resolution), so that they can be printed with a minimum of 300dpi. Name photo-files with the name of the person in the order: surname_firstname.jpg.
- To renew a press card fill in all information on the order form and also send a new photo. Mark (x) on the column "renew" and also fill in the membership number from the old press card.
- Send both order form and photo-files by e-mail to secretary(at)ifaj.org
- At the same time pay the total price of the press cards (15 euro per piece) plus the banking charges required for the transfer of the payment to the bank account of IFAJ. The charges of the bank in your country and of the bank of IFAJ must be paid along with the payment of the press card(s).
If the order and payment are all right, the press cards can be delivered in a few weeks.
