This audio package took many hours on the boat to put together. It gave a national audience an insight into how something hyper local could affect them.
It also offered a solution and showed how a bit of regional ingenuity could impact the globe.
I discovered this story doing an environmental impacts story with Colleen who mentioned off-hand conversations she’d had with a fisherman. From there, the story was born.
