Alliance, a leading global brand in agricultural tires manufactured by Yokohama Off-Highway Tires, Ltd., is sponsoring the IFAJ Star Prize contest. The company’s sponsorship will underwrite cash prizes for winners in the Star Prize’s new category structure.
“We are delighted to sponsor the Star Prize program for the second year, helping IFAJ celebrate the best agricultural journalism in the world,” said Bruce Besancon, vice president of marketing for Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, Inc.
“We appreciate the vital role agricultural journalists and communicators play in delivering timely, accurate information to farmers and consumers,” Besancon added. “That requires skill, knowledge and dedication, and a commitment to stay informed on the latest advances in the industry.
“This is the 70th anniversary of the Alliance brand of farm tires, now part of Yokohama Off-Highway Tires. Over those years, technology and innovation have been at the heart of our business,” said Besancon. “We salute IFAJ’s members and the jobs they do to connect farmers and other audiences with the latest technology and farming techniques, news and perspective, and wish you all well with your entries in the Star Prize.”
