The IFAJ 2023 World Congress — New Frontiers in the West — is less than three months away and the planning committee couldn’t be more thrilled to announce we’re now more than 60% sold out!
Canada is excited to welcome members from Australia, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Japan, South Africa the U.S. and more to the Congress from June 27 to July 3.

Everything from visiting a high-efficiency grain terminal that cleans 8,800 bushels per hour, to getting exclusive access to one of the country’s most sought-after veterinary colleges, a tour of a 25,000-head feedlot, the chance to see a bison herd up close, world-renowned guest speakers, the opportunity to interview a multi-generational family farm with ties to the barley sector, a tour of how a Canadian dairy farm operates and even special musical acts and performances — what more could you ask for?!
Funny you ask… We also are encouraging you to look at our pre-tours along with the post-congress tours that are being offered. If you stay in the region after the Congress, journalists will receive priority media access to the Calgary Stampede — The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth! IFAJ members will also be invited to the AllTechONE conference taking place in Calgary, Alta., on July 4.
