Apply online by March 29 for a great opportunity to cover the global conference in Rotterdam
The International Seed Federation (ISF) has created a sponsorship to bring 15 IFAJ members to the World Seed Congress in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, from May 27-29, 2024. The sponsorship will cover travel, registration, hotel and a day-long press tour of seed-related sites in the area.
“We at ISF are pleased to collaborate with IFAJ to raise the voice of the global seed industry and promote our efforts to ensure the best quality seed is accessible to all, supporting food security and sustainable agriculture,” said Michael Keller, Secretary General of the International Seed Federation (ISF). “As we celebrate our centennial year, it is ever more crucial to reach more people and share stories that illustrate the importance of seed as the most crucial starting point of agriculture and our food systems.”
With keynote presentations on trends in global trade, the worldwide movement of seed, genetically modified organisms, attracting young people to the seed industry, food security and more, the 2024 World Seed Congress is sure to be fascinating for journalists around the world.

Please note:
- Participating journalists must be members of an IFAJ guild in good standing, and will be selected by a jury.
- Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and will only be accepted until March 29, 2024.
- Applicants will be asked to provide samples of their reporting and a letter of recommendation from an editor or manager.
- For journalists who are not able to attend the World Seed Congress in person, ISF is offering free access to IFAJ members to online streams of key presentations during the congress.
