Set Up Your Account on the IFAJ Online Portal!

IFAJ’s Portal, the members-only online resource, is now live. The new Portal includes:

  • A member directory
  • Discussion forums
  • Press card information
  • Information for IFAJ Executives

In the next few months, the Portal will also grow to include other features that allow IFAJ members to tap into professional development resources, reporting tools, and more.

One of the most exciting elements in the Portal is the discussion forum, where IFAJ members can share their thoughts on a wide range of topics. Our inaugural forums include a discussion on the future of agricultural journalism hosted by Chris McCullough of Northern Ireland and a Freedom of the Press forum hosted by Micke Godtfredsen of Finland. Sign in and join the conversation.

It just takes a few moments to set up an account on the Portal, which will be approved by a representative of your guild to provide you with full member access. Looking for a freelancer? Check the member directory. Seeking a source for perspective on what’s going on in a country you are covering? That’s in the member directory, too. Interested in how COVID-19 is impacting fellow agricultural journalists? Check out the discussion forums.

The new IFAJ Portal is a window into some of the many benefits of IFAJ membership. Visit www.portal.ifaj.org, set up your account, and explore it!
