At the 2025 Congress in Kenya, delegates approved renaming IFAJ the International Forum of Agricultural Journalists. The change will take effect once registered with the UK Companies House.
UNARGA, the Italian guild of agricultural journalists, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the World Agricultural Press Congress with a panel discussion on global trends in agricultural journalism featuring IFAJ President Steve Werblow and European Network of Agricultural Journalists Yanne Boloh.
From October 14–18, 2025, Nairobi became the global hub of agricultural journalism as over 180 reporters from five continents gathered for the IFAJ Congress, organized with Kenya’s MESHA.
