The survival of a small farm is hindered by a minefield of bureaucracy

In a changing society there are new standards to be met in agriculture, so farmers need to adapt to the new circumstances and make decisions that will impact their future. Information is a key asset to their success, so our mission is to provide them with accurate and timely information every day. This struggling farmer’s story was conveyed with text and video by Leticija Hrenkovic, an author on Agroklub. She spent the entire day on a remote farm talking and recording the owner, following the heard with shepherds through karst pastures and witnessing the cheese production, together with a photographer Boris Stanic.
The author of the story also corresponded with local authorities, raising questions on their role in facilitating the survival of this family farm.
