TB is an issue which devastates farms all over Ireland. The approach to the piece was to bring the head of the USPCA onto a farm to see the impact of bovine TB and to give the farmer the space to feel heard. Allowing the interviewees time to chat as we walked around the field lead to them both speaking candidly. The piece was for a general audience – so it was important to get across what the impact of bTB is. Elaine Mitchell brings together one of the loudest anti badger cull voices onto a farm where they could hear from a farmer whose business has been destroyed by TB.
