Today is the last day to apply to attend a reporting trip to Ecuador. The group-reporting trip will focus on health and development issues and is being organized by the International Reporting Project (IRP) and will be for 12 days from October 18-29, 2015.
The trip is open to journalists, bloggers, social media practitioners and other media professionals. The cost of the round-trip air tickets, visas, hotel, local transportation and several meals will be covered by IRP.
It is an exciting opportunity to see the progress made and the progress to be made in healthcare, development and rural resources. Important topics such as nutrition and agriculture, the impact of infectious and neglected disease, the increased use of technology, and more will be covered on the 12-day excursion.
Participants will be required to post stories before, during and after the trip about the trip itself.
Participants from Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States will be given priority in the application process.
