The powerful role that agricultural journalism plays in assisting diverse groups of stakeholders is one of the memories IFAJ Master Class participant Sos Avetisyan took home from Canada.
” I also felt the feedback that ag journalists receive from all mentioned and not mentioned stakeholders in the form of increased production and enhanced quality, good laws and regulations, and the spirit of common responsibility,” said Sos, in his IFAJ Congress report in the newsletter (click here) of the International Center for Agribusiness Research and Education in Armenia, where Sos works.
He praised Master Class organisers for their peer-to-peer approach to teaching and learning experience, through seeking feedback from the interesting and diverse group of 10 journalists from developing countries.
In the second annual Master Class, IFAJ and DuPont, through its Pioneer Hi-Bred business, collaborated to provide training and networking opportunities for the 10 journalists, during the IFAJ Congress at Guelph and Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
